and for those suggesting a betting agency would reject the bet or lessen the odds, shows you know nothing about the gambling industry.
Bundy Boy You are correct a betting agency will take the bet, if there is some doubt or the bet to large they simply take insurance to minimize a possible loss by betting a percentage of your bet with a different betting agency/s at similair or better odds.

And the amount of total votes per eviction would not be a massive amount. If there are about 1 million viewers per evition show, even if half of them voted once that is only 500,000votes. Imo it would be a much much lower number.

over the years and even in the last few punters have found many lucrative loopholes with betting agencys.

Think about this:

If everyone took the money they wasted on voting for BB and simply gave it to the housemate they liked most, the majority of the housemates would be millionaires.

I think a bet on Cherry is excellent value, with the current odds . Nobbi might be short at the moment (a little under a week from evictions), but I can't honestly see Nobbi being voted out before Cherry.

Jesus is coming, quick everyone look busy

Do you reckon Terri's a chance after last night? If they go for the kill on Sunday's daily show, and give her a really bad edit? Just checked Sportsbet, she's at $21. She's an outsider, and Nobbi would have a week's worth of votes behind him, but racism is a strong motivator.

Depending on the event there are maximum bets one can wager on any single event.
It all depends on the total wagers they are currently holding for that event. The bigger the base the more they will accept from any single bet.

I.e if they have taken a total of $10,000 for this weeks eviction they may have a betting cap on any single bet to $10,000.
Thats not to say you could not bet 300,000 you would just need to break it down to 30 bets of 10,000 but for every 10k the odds would shorten as a reflection of the current bet affects on there total wagering base for that betting market.

You can see this with the jeff fenech fight this tuesday and the below exert from sydney morning herald.

"VETERANS A DRAW Tuesday's Jeff Fenech-Azumah Nelson fight could the biggest boxing betting event since the May 2006 Anthony Mundine-Danny Green clash.

Sullivan said Sportingbet Australia punters had been keen to support Fenech.

"We've taken a $10,000 bet on Fenech at $1.90 as well as $4000 at $2.15 and two $2000 bets at $2," he said. "Fenech is now the $1.85 favourite after starting off as the outsider."

The more that gets bet on someone the lower their odds drop.
I caught Jeff at $1.85 myself but he has since firmed even more to $1.65. Its just how betting markets work. Given the big brother betting market is probably so tiny there is no way you could feasibly put a large bet on and keep the odds you would need to make worth calling through as many times as you would need to cause the upset.

Hope that clears things up for you.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't allow someone to multiple vote that many times and that it could be fraudulent to do this anyhow.

You know at this late stage in the show, you couldn't properly pick the final 4 house mates. So place bets on all of them winning, and you might be able to do it so you come out ahead??? could you not?
